Welcome to Nvrlift Photography! My name is Natalie, I'm 23 and I'm a self taught automotive photographer. Since I was a kid I've been absolutely fascinated with cars, and as I got older my love for them grew even more. I'm especially a massive fan of the drifting, and I'm lucky enough to be part of the Archerfield Media crew, where I shoot the drifting a couple of times a week.
My love for photography started when a friend of mine purchased a camera. For my first 8 or so months of photography I used that camera until I bit the bullet one day and purchased myself a Canon 80D. Since that day, there have only been a few days since that purchase where I haven't had a camera in my hand. Evolving my photography skills has meant that over time I've also built up a good collection of photography equipment (and tyre shine in the boot of my car).
I then realised that I could combine my longtime love for cars, drifting and photography all in one. So I started taking photos about a year ago at Archerfield Drift Park. Since then I have gone on to perfect my skills in not only drift photography, but also still shots of cars. I'm always trying new ways to show off cars in new and unique ways, particularly with something called light painting.
The photo above is my absolute pride and joy, a 2015 Subaru BRZ which I purchased back in July 2020 as a project car. Since then I've done a number of small cosmetic changes to make it more mine. All of my interior pieces have been wrapped and repainted in a galaxy theme. The fender garnishes and headlight washer covers have been wrapped in carbon fibre. I've resprayed the wheels matte black, as well as installed a set of Valenti sequential lights for a more aggressive look. I've got a million more ideas, and can't wait to start doing some serious performance upgrades to this car.
Outside of photography I also love to draw cars. The awesome thing about taking my own photos is I can then use them as reference photos for my drawings. I mainly draw in carbon pencils, but every so often I do break out the coloured pencils.
